New Bone Site

May 23rd, 2006 · by jdroth · 1 Comment

Jeff Smith (of Bone fame) has re-vamped his website. Boneville now sports a shiny new weblog-like interface.

Given that:

  1. the Bone: One Volume Edition has become something of a collectors item, and
  2. Scholastic Press is re-releasing the original nine volumes in color for about $10/each

I believe I’m going to swap my fat book for nine skinny ones…

I already have nine skinny ones… I have the original set of hardcovers. Actually I have ten skinny ones, since I have Rose in HC too.

I tend to prefer books in color over those in B&W, but I don’t think I want to reinvest in this series at this point, especially if they’re not doing them in hardcover.

I gave the one-volume PB to a friend for Christmas a few years back. I think the one-volume HC was limited edition and rather pricy to start with.

I started buying Bone with issue #4! Can you believe it?
